Tracklab launches compliance calculation for laboratory analysis reports
Tracklab now calculates the compliance of laboratory analysis reports automatically, against regulatory and internal frameworks, in a traceable and auditable way.

Paris, 4 November 2026. Tracklab is launching a new feature in its Analyses module: automatic compliance calculation for laboratory analysis reports. Every result, whether it comes from a supplier or from a contracted laboratory, is now compared against European regulatory frameworks and the manufacturer's own internal requirements. Every calculation is traceable and auditable, in particular for IFS, BRCGS or FSSC 22000 audits.
What changes for quality teams
- A status for every parameter: as soon as the report is received, a compliance status is calculated for each parameter, against each applicable framework, regulatory or internal.
- A complete record: for every result, the threshold, the text, its version and the date applied are kept.
- The decision remains yours: Tracklab calculates and records. Validating compliance remains the responsibility of quality teams.
Why this feature
Quality departments receive reports from dozens of laboratories, each in its own format. A pesticide screening can include up to 1,000 parameters. Without a suitable tool, these results are re-keyed into spreadsheets, sometimes a second time into the ERP.
The laboratory measures each parameter and concludes on its compliance against the applicable standard. The manufacturer, however, may be subject to stricter requirements: its internal policy, or the specification of a customer such as a retail chain. During an audit, it must be able to show how each result was assessed, and against which criterion.
How the compliance calculation works
1. Results are extracted automatically
Tracklab extracts results from reports written in French, English, German, Turkish or Chinese, and recognises each parameter whatever its label.
2. Each parameter is compared with your frameworks
Several European texts are built in and kept up to date by Tracklab's teams, for example:
- pesticide residues: Regulation (EC) No 396/2005;
- contaminants: Regulation (EU) 2023/915;
- microbiological criteria: Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005;
- plastic materials in contact with food: Regulation (EU) No 10/2011.
Manufacturers add their own frameworks, such as an internal policy or a customer specification, with an alert threshold and a blocking threshold.
3. A status is calculated, next to the laboratory's conclusion
For each parameter and each framework, the platform calculates a status: compliant, alert, non-compliant or "to be determined" when information is missing. The result of the calculation is displayed next to the laboratory's conclusion, which remains visible.
Traceable and auditable
Each calculation keeps the threshold, the text, its version and the date applied, even if the threshold changes later. Quality teams can therefore trace, for any analysis, the criterion in force at the time of the calculation. Tracklab processes and structures the data; the compliance decision remains the manufacturer's.
"A laboratory only sees its own analyses, and an ERP only sees what is entered into it. Quality managers need one place where all their analyses are matched against their requirements, with a traceable history on audit day." — Fadel Bennani, co-founder of Tracklab
"We designed the engine so that it always states what it is calculating against, and flags what it cannot decide rather than concluding wrongly. On a food safety topic, the transparency of the calculation matters as much as its speed." — Nicolas Henry, co-founder of Tracklab
Availability
The feature has been available since 4 November 2026 in the Analyses module of the Tracklab platform. It is designed for quality and laboratory managers at food manufacturers.
